3 weeks agoTook close to 40 minutes to get our food after ordering while others that came in and ordered after us got orders taken and food brought out before ours. Servers were arguing amongst each other and only being attentative to the regulars that were there or their friends. The food, once arrived, was bland and the stake was soggy. Really disappointed because the last time I was in the service and food was great.

a month agoHorrible. Refund would be the least you could do after such an experience. Honestly no wonder Albany has a reputation for being garbage; this establishment and crude, slow, rude bartender and ridiculously high prices for no reason. I've never felt more insulted and in need of a drink per leaving the bar than I needed one when I walked in.

4 months agoI eat lunch here every few weeks with business associates and I have never had a bad meal. The club sandwich is almost large enough to be a food challenge, we always joke that we should get one for the table. The staff is really friendly and the service is always really fast. The menu sandwiches and pub fare at its finest. Don't miss this great spot.

5 months ago21+ ONLY. I follow our local companies and try to visit as many as possible, especially the ones I see recommended by others on social media. I stopped in for a daddy-daughter lunch date and there are no minors at all at this business. I do not hold it against them but want others to be informed. They were super nice though! I’ve eaten here in the past and the food was great! And their food has a great local reputation. I guess I could have ordered carryout.

5 months agoA fantastic little spot to grab a lunch or dinner with great cocktails. Back to the food. I've eaten most everything on the menu over the years. Here's what you need to know. 1. Great food. You will NOT leave hungry. 2. Great cocktails. Many choices. 3. Great value for your money 4. Incredible customer service. Fun, Great spot to hang with friends of have a business meeting. A real hot spot in Albany. You will NOT be disappointed.

a year agoIt is a bar but they have the best bar food I've ever had!! In kind of a hard to get to spot but absolutely worth it!! We did have one of our burgers comped cuz we did ask for well-done with no pink and it did have pink inside of it.. other than that it was so so good, did have to wait a bit and didn't have time to wait for another burger to be made. Portions were amazing and so so filling! Server was very very nice and tentative, had our drinks refilled promptly and didn't even sit at the bar

a year agoThis place was very comfy and had a great feel. Not alot of places for 2 people to sit. Alot of big tables. But we really enjoyed our visit! Beer was great. Service was great. And food was great! I asked for extra pickles on my burger an man did they come through with that. They gave me like 30 pickles on my plate

Edited a week agoIf you're looking for a no-frills dining experience with great food and unbeatable prices, Wilhelms is hard to beat. Finally tried their legendary Burger. Holy cow you better be hungry for this one. Ordered the bacon cheddar burger and added mushrooms and grilled onions. It was impressive, but I probably would leave the grilled onions off next time. There was a little too much going on there when you are talking a full 8 oz of angus beef.. Their portions are generous, and their prices are remarkably low, especially considering today's high inflation. The food is fantastic, and the service is always reliable. The restaurant is clean and modern, making it suitable for any occasion—whether it's a first date, a company lunch, or a special event. I tried the Shrimp Louie and the Cajun Beef Linguine. Both dishes were outstanding, and the Shrimp Louie was loaded with shrimp. You won't find a better pasta deal in town than their Cajun Beef Linguine for $19.50—it’s a dish that could easily serve two people. The steak in the picture is hands down the best I ever had in Albany for under $20!!! Remarkably cheap too!
